Be careful with the pork they serve there though, my wife got a piece that was completely a bone and her second piece was 90% fat. The chicken is very tasty and the jerk sauce was real good the first day, and the last day was quite sweet yet still enjoyable. There is a poolside grill during the afternoon. The steaks we had at an earlier visit was on the thin side, yet, well cooked and tasty. Be aware the Steak House is closed Sundays, which we did not go and had planned it for date night. The Food: The food was definitely above average. Kudos to those boys slugging things around in the hot sun. Always there with a lounger and umbrella. The staff on the beach were just great at making you feel welcome. Nice waves, nice entry into the ocean without a massive drop off. This had an infinity edge, where we spent a lot of time. The Pools: Pools were wonderful, we spent most of our time in the swim up bar pool (swim up bar was closed). Since we spent a lot of time at the bar, more friendly staff would have been appreciated. Most barely would look at you while ordering. That being said a big shout out to Keno, who was one of the few bar staff that was engaging and talkative. The only exception was the bar staff, who by and large made you feel like you were bothering them when you ordered a drink, this was especially true with a server named Mytchalin. The Staff: Over all the staff were great, everyone from front desk, to housekeepers, to wait staff. The View: The view from our balcony on the 15th floor was nothing less than spectacular, we had the beach view and not the pool view. There wall had liquor dispensers, including Rum, Gin, and Vodka. It had a mini bar fridge complete with 5 beers, a few can of coke, diet coke and sprite, with some water to boot. The Room: We had the basic level room, which was your typical hotel room, king bed, bathroom with shower, tv. We spent a weekend (Thursday thru Monday) at this resort, October 14 - 18, 2021.
